Hey everyone,
Why I'm Here
Glad to be here. I've referenced BHW for years when looking for software reviews as well as technique tips. Online, I'm pretty quiet. I'm not seeking fame. I have a growing family and I just want to shut up, learn and make money online while I watch my kids grow up. I started working on computers when I was a kid. I've always been good at it, so naturally, why not make money with it. I still work a desk job, but that's just because we're trying to make as much money as possible while I can still tolerate doing both things. I hope to learn as much as possible and share useful information.
A Bit About Me - What I do have are a very particular set of skills
The majority of our income comes from online sources. The thing I'm best at is managing money and I think this is the primary reason I've succeeded online as I have. I dabble in coding, but I'm not an expert in any one language. I've been learning Python, I'm pretty good at PHP, I'm OK at SQL as long as I reference my queries before executing (always back the database up! Don't ask me how I know), I know just enough Windows Batch to make my life easier in most cases and harder in others. I know HTML, Javascript and CSS pretty well.
I'm currently trying to learn bot creation/automation. I'm also in the midst of testing a bunch of different SEO techniques and applications. Techniques I'm working on are:
I try to not get too caught up in the White hat vs Black hat debate. I'm trying to make money just like Google is. Automation isn't the devil, Google's business is almost completely automated. I just want to build value and get it in front of people's faces.
I've always been very timid about testing "black hat" techniques as I don't want to ruin what I've already got going, but I also want to grow more and grow faster. It's always been tempting. What I've started doing instead is testing techniques with other peoples' sites, but I choose sites that won't hurt a person's income if I screw things up. So, I'll use a person's abandoned personal Tumblr blog as a testing target and things like that.
For videos, I'll choose something like a slideshow video that isn't ranking, or a video that is clearly infringing copyright (like a fan music video). I think this is a good start for my introduction thread. If you have any questions, feel free to add them and I'll do my best to answer.

- Ranking YT videos with different methods (View inflation, links, etc)
- Ranking websites for keywords with automated link building (up to recently, I've never used automated link building)
