I have been actively feeding China with information about every aspect of my life for the last 9 years.
Been using redmi, my robot vacuum is xiaomi, hell my airfrier was xiaomi, i have no idea why the app for it wanted my location, they already have it, the cheap roomba already mapped out my flat multiple times....
Was thinking of getting samsung actually, liked their UI.

Ehh, if you like the UI, go nuts.
My issue with samsung isn't even "feeding data to china or whatever", i just don't like their bloatware and I personally find their battery life second to none in terms of bad.
If we are being serious, all phones are spyware, doesn't matter if you have a samsung, iphone or anything inbetween.
Choose your lesser evil and make peace with it.
If you like the samsung, go for it !
samsung price is up there tho
if you compare samsung with the aother androids.

I'm satisfied with my redmi note, doing the work beyond the needs, good price/value, won't ask for more
