Sounds logical, but I am not sure what are the ways for Google to identify the category of the article if we set the permalink to /post-name style and disable the category base. Any idea?

hi mate ..how are you ..Having the same keyword targeted on multiple pages of a website doesn't make a search engine thinks your site is more relevant for that term. When multiple web pages seem to be too similar, it can actually send out negative signals
 
I hope you won't need two different content for a single keyword even its relevant.
