Hi Hungry, I'm Dad.

• Left my 9 - 5 job three months ago getting paid $70k a year in order to break into the e-commerce/online businesses space.
• So far, I've been spending a good portion of my time doing research, reading, and setting up a Shopify store.
• I have found things more difficult than I thought it would be but I'm still going to pursue this until December 31, after which I will get another corporate job since that means I failed to make it big on my own using the world wide web.

Good on ya mate. The ol 9-5 struggle can get tiresome. The online marketing world is not that easy to crack, it takes time to learn, and then it takes more time to implement what you learned, only to realise you did it all backwards!

If you want you can post a journey thread. It’s good because you will have everyone critiquing your online journey. The key to success as I’m sure your already aware is paitence and perseverance.

In doing research on certain digital marketing stuff...I constantly found myself reading stuff from BHW and thought it would just make more sense to join the community << Closest thing to a black hat.

I wonder if there's anyone on here who left a good-paying job to try pursuing something like this...if so...shoot me a message! Would love to keep each other accountable and make sure we're hitting daily goals and tasks. That's been one of my biggest struggles...going from perfect structure (my job demanded meetings and pristine calendar management daily) to have an unlimited amount of time and so little structure.
