Hi guys,
just wanted to introduce myself shortly here.
I'm Robert, currently living in Switzerland, and I've been doing "Online Marketing" for close to 10 years now.
However: Most of my businesses have been centered "offline", and online measures were only used to help them grow.
I had some great successes, and I had some awfully costly failures. Build some 7-figure business in a year and went bancrupt with it - because we've been greedy and growing too fast.
Throughout the last 2-3 years of "offline" business, I've always been dreaming about doing something purely "online". Reason is: if you have an offline business crowing, its a f...ing pain in the ass. You got your inventory (in our case, a "best before" inventory which is even worse), you got the pain of product checks, so once you've grown to a certain size it's no fun anymore.... at least to me.
There are guys who like to administer things, but I'm the type that gets bored once something is done. I need to move on the the next thing. I need to build up, to get through the problems, solve them and then I can leave it happily, even if there's more money in it
strange, but maybe one or the other of you knows what I'm talking about.
Anyway:
I've made a decision to focus most of my energy to "online" projects from now on. I now a lot about online marketing - but "pure" online marketing is a totally different world that I'm eager to learn about.
I'm lucky to have the funds to have a nice head start regarding tools, ad funding and stuff.... but still, I consider myself a newbie.
Now, start flaming ;-)
Best regards and please, keep any spelling and grammar errors as a gift ;-)
