I'm in the CBD ecommerce space as well.
Biggest thing right now is how flooded every general product market is. example: Everyone is trying to do the "CBD can help all people and we sell every available CBD product now"
Being super generic is not going to get sales, the best thing to do is to worship your customers. They're the only reason you will be in business
Give them extra samples of product when they order, upgrade their shipping for free, write a hand written thank you note with every order. Give referral product to people who refer their friends to purchase. Word of mouth has worked out extremely well for us and has created loyal customers that we've had for 2 years.
Hone in on a niche, add another supplement into your CBD product and combine the benefits of the two. Ex. Chamomile with your CBD capsules to give sleep benefits.
Really be different here, because end of the day, what REALLy is the difference between your generic brand and someone elses?
Niches that are up and coming from what I've seen are Seniors, and specific pets ( CBD water additive for dogs) stuff like that.
With our own brand we are trying to get more customers from SEO and IM but we've been going okay with just Awesome customer service and focusing on what customers really want.
They want reputation (Because of the Fake CBD oils scare, and there's so many companies that it's overwhelming) and education.
Many potential buyers want to try CBD because they've heard about it through friends, Dr. OZ, the mainstream news outlets, but don't know where to start or what to take or how much to take.
Answer these questions for buyers and you have content that really answers people questions relating to CBD
