Hey mods, Why you ban so many users?

i love this forum for many reasons, But something is bothering me.
all topics that I enter have at least 1 user banned, I've seen topics with up to 4 banned
the posts of these banished seem normal to me, so I do not understand the reasons for the ban

the moderators of this forum have little patience ?, what is the most normal reason that ban?

But seriously, you should charge for reapplying, and their name would have "previous banned" beside it,
Would make a mint probably. lol

It's because previously banned scammers , spammers and idiots try to return under a new username etc OR existing members break the rules to the extent a temporary ban isn't sufficient and a permanent ban is the only option.

If you play by the rules, you've nothing to worry about - simple.
 
Actually we have rather relaxed mods.

You can't always know the reason behind a ban. Posts can get removed, so you won't be able to see the reason. Rule violation can happen in PMs and so on.

I'm not sure about the most frequent reason of bans, maybe selling outside the Marketplace or just spam. Maybe a mod can answer to this.
 
If I were to guess,

1 spam
2 selling outside of marketplace
3 new, with too many warning points

On the whole, I think the mods do a great job. At its peak during the day the forum sees at least 10 posts every minute.

I got a warning because i called out a MOD here who advertised broken service where people lost money and he didnt even take the offer down, but deleted my issues towards him. So thats whats up.

The forum have banned Mods who abuse there power.

I don't mean to be rude, but it's likely you went about it the wrong way.
 
What happened was that there is an MOD approved, or featured service on this marketplace (im not going to name it right now) that does not work properly or dosent work at all.. only negative feedback from people and the issues havent been resolved.. unfortunately i didnt read all the comments under that post before purchasing it because i saw the mods approved it so i thought its a safe way and there were too many pages to go through so i thought i will give it a shot.
Shit didnt work, and then i went and complained under that post like other users and that i lost money, and said that how this thing still can be featured.. my posts were deleted, and i received a warning.. thats it. The amount of money i lost wasnt big so i didnt give a fuck to try and fight for it.

You then proceeded to leave yet another and said, "Staff just deleted and ignored my comment, nobody gives a shit." and for that you got a warning for inappropriate content.

At least, if you are going to whine, get your facts right.

You knew that BEFORE you got a warning because I sent you that alert as demonstrated in that image above.

You have an issue with the service you put a support ticket in like he tells people in that thread and if it does not get sorted you create a shitlist thread. Why you think you can just ramble on and call out the Moderators when you fail to follow proper procedure, which is normal and customary in any business event, is wildly unusual and uncommon.

Now, stop posting in this thread as you are hijacking it as the OP did not ask anything about why people got warnings.

You should offer some more useful insights more often, you've probably learnt & done quite a bit,
I feel like your the guy thats actually quite interesting sitting in the corner with nobody to drink with!

A Mod approving a service is not a guarantee of that service. It is simply saying at the time that the Mod tested it - it worked as described. You already admitted that you should've read the other comments so I'm not sure what your greavence is.

Trust me, the mods and admins do an amazing job here.

I think its easy to forget (Or not appreciate) the scale of blackhatworld - at the time of writing this, over 9 million messages on here, close to 900,000 members and 4000+ members online at any one time.

Just by the law of numbers there are going to be a large amount of people trying to circumnativate the rules, scam people and so on, and thats why you will see a lot of banned members.

Also, you only see the banned members, you dont see the restraint taken by the mods and admins on even more occassions.

haha there's some truth on that. I may not be an expert but sure I can :)
 
We do our best to keep our house clean by removing the mess. Same goes for our BHW, it's more than a house for us and it's our job to keep it clean from the guys who do mess over here!
