I cant get any higher than a 0.13% click through rate with cpc and with cpm its very low, 0.04%.
I guess it could be worse, but i really want around 1% or higher. I want a lot of clicks for under 10c per click. Its that possible?

My first ad got a 0.13% ctr with cpc targeting 2.9m women 25+.
I tried reducing the target audience to under 30'000 and the ctr didnt really change, the impressions got really low and i only got about 20-30 clicks n a whole day.

I tried switching to cpm and that was even worse, a smaller target group with cpm i got a click through rate of 0.04% at the lowest 0.01%.

When i try an even smaller target group, i get even lower impressions, even if i try to raise my max cpc or cpm and when i do get a click its like 20c a click!! Too expensive.

So I think maybe its my ads.

Do they just suck? Are they too boring?
What does a high ctr ad look like?

I cant see what my competitors are doing because i live in Asia and my markets Europe. So all i get to see is asian ads which are kinda borin.

Any ideas :-( Just need some inspiration.

Looks too standard. Always viral/strange/disturbing has most ctr. online marketing 101

They look pretty bland yes, also remember that advertisements take time.

Thanks for the reply guys.
How much time do ads take? Ive been testing for about a month now and no success.
Also - does anyone have any examples of what a high ctr ad looks like?

This my first time doin this and im pretty stumped

Ads require consistent testing, even if an ad does look appealing it's all about the statistics behind the scenes & only the owner will know such statistics.

Possibly make this small box, a lot bigger & eye catching. keep the text minimal yet addictive where it causes curiosity to someones mind then they are likely to click.

I think they area ok. Depends where you are posting them.
