Over the last few months or so, I’ve been focusing a bit more on SEMRush data. I allowed my ahrefs subscription to lapse for the first time in awhile.

What is the difference in the quality of the links though? You need to check that before you get a fair analysis. Could be Chinese link farms in the ahrefs list, whereas those get filtered out with semrush? Not sure if that's true, but we have to be ready to check things with data.
Maybe one of the SEO experts (that can afford both for a while) on the forum can write up a good comparison on why & what guide one day!

What i feel is ahrefs give exact correct info but the price is way higher like in the half price you can get semrush subscription semrush also is great tool

Many accessible special features, fast crawling, close to near reliable data, also PEAK IN SUBSCRIPTION PRICE - So it is always better.
