social bookmarking is great to start getting some traffic to your site. Use sites such as reddit, stumbleupon, delicious, digg when you do a new post. Be sure to make each description on your social bookmarks unique as well. You should start seeing traffic right away (instant traffic numbers are usually determined on what type of niche you targeting)
What is your niche? (don't tell me it's for your own speculation in head)'
If you want cosplayers to notice you, then you have to hang among cosplayer place. Same goes here. If you're purely relying on google, then you are going to get some frustration. Googel traffic isn't always converting, not after the panda atleast. Twitter and Facebook traffic also converts and doesnt need efforts like SEO.
So if you fail in google seo, then keep one thing in mind - stay among people who are in your niche. That is much better approach.

if you are unable to get traffic from google then use social networking sites like twitter, facebook, pinterest etc, etc.... one more nice way is yahoo answer..
