why you think that if you offer free work or low prices people will hire you?
how you think it looks and sounds like professional?
if you are making your professional portfolio with huge samples of past work and then you are saying that "i am working for free", i think it's absolutely not sounds like professional.
professional freelance will never work even an hour for free. you have to know price for your work.
i recommend don't make service prices lower, make it higher.
