Aight dudes with em big brains....I have an issue I cannot seem to resolve.

I take care of a YT channel for a client. The videos are also hosted on his website.

The videos are NOT on auto play. However he uses straight up the YT embed code.

I know for a fact that the views on his website are exponentially more (by I.P. adress) than on the actual video.

I need to figure out how to make the views count also on YT....Unless that doesn't work anymore?!

im pretty sure it works.. maybe its just taking a while to show the views on youtube my views take hours to show up..

We are not talking hours man....We are talking days/weeks.

No reason this shouldn't work, since Youtube is still hosting the videos ...

I would blame it on the stupid update a few days ago ... but it sounds like it's been going on longer than that. Where exactly are the views at right now? Are they in the frozen 300 range?

Even prior to the 300 freezing zone area It was still pulling the same stunt...It is not my first YT upload.

On the first day they had like 500 views on their website. now I am just shy of 300 and only have 13 views coming from their website.

Their views are counted by IP on their website - So I SHOULD AT LEAST have that much on the video.

I am not admin on the website so perhaps there is something on there preventing me from seeing the views on YT?

I would think iFrame - but then again, why would I have 13 views show up?....

Youtube doesn't count views from iframe's so chances are it's that.

Just read that too. And also that Youtube doesn't count views for embedded (using their code) videos if they're on AutoPlay. Jeez Youtube! How is a guy supposed to make a buck around here?!

@adam rock : I am thinking that they are not necessarily in an iFrame as I still got 13 views coming from the website....

@krosis : totally aware of that. Stated up there that it is NOT on autoplay.

youtube blocked all other sites besides a few sites like facebook, I think this was an update a few months ago

not sure if it was fixd
