HELP! Sorting, Organizing, Grouping following list into custom categories

I am now wondering if there is any other app with a contact sorting feature that could maybe help as an alternative.

Would anyone have ideas on this matter? Could a developer easily build a feature like this?

And then when I want to find certain people for certain projects or anything else I can simply go to my groups and see the networking I have gathered in each groups
