I need help regarding the competitor analysis, I work for the company lybrate(dot)com and our competitor is Practo, which beat's out our website for any health-related search terms like cardiologist in Delhi, a physiotherapist in Delhi or other high search terms. For SEO analysis i am using paid Moz tool which is shown in 55K duplicate content pages, whereas practo have only 22 content duplicacy how? I wanna know that!!

We do have duplicate content on our website, so does the practo but why no tool is shown their content duplicacy issue, What coding? or on page strategy they are using to avoid content duplicity
Please help me regarding this and your insights and your suggestions to improve!

Thanks, Guys!

Are your articles unique or copied from other websites?

The articles we published are unique but the doctors listings might repeat as It's an large listing website having 60 million pages but we try to resolve them by using canonical and pagination

Practo has become a big brand not just because of social engagement it's all about branding duplicity doesn't matter in branding case.

Only a quick look but I think you might want to stop some of the search tags / filters being indexed for example a quick look into the site and I can find the same page indexed for

lybrate.com/guwahati/treatment-for-dandruff

lybrate.com/guwahati/doctors-for-dandruff-treatment

Both are exactly the same page with similar if not the same set of results but all I can figure that's changed is the url / search filter term. I suspect having a quick glance this is no doubt the reason for the majority of your duplicate pages, the same comes up again but this time with 'Book' in the title tag with the same set of results.

thanks! for the suggestion really appreciate your effort

Make sure that each keyword/ LSI you are going to use is under a different article instead of cramming them all up in one article.
