Hi everyone, I've been new in Youtube and posted a video with two parts: 1. A holiday video with my ex-friend 2. A short introduction of myself We were friends when I had my video uploaded. After losing the friendship, my friend reported to youtube for privacy violation that 'it' didn't have consent to be in the video. I recieved an email from youtube to remove the video within 48 hours.. So I trimmed the first part of the video and now my video is just talking to the camera Will youtube still take away my video? Do I need to tell them about it or will they review it after 48 hours? I'm scared that it will have an automated program and automatically remove my video without checking my trimmed video. I don't want to delete my video since I had a really good success and start with my youtube career.
Just place a dispute and let yt know of the situation and that you edited the video. Everything should be fine. Anyway worst case scenario is yt downing your video and you geting first strike which does not mean anything (unless u heavily violated their policies before), and resets after one year.
