help please.....removing bing look a like tool bar adware

dont know where or how since I have malware protection ...and it doesnt open all the time ..tried to eliminate by uninstalling...and couldnt find the name associated with it ...tried extensions and addons ..shows OffersWizard sometimes...
only comes up in chrome...
any help is appreciated since it is a pain !

norton ...and Malware..recommendations ? though tit may be an app but cant find anything ...
 
Google 'hijackthis', great tool for removing unwanted browser hijacks.
 
thanks guys and gals ...will do those recommendations..running slow , but maybe the 16 windows I have open ...
 
Find name or partial name of this toolbar/trojan, search entire computer. Delete every instance of it from win32, and wherever else it went.

@InsanelySane that is the problem ..I havent been able to find a name for the file ...or program or app or whatever it is ....thanks tho
 
well...no joy with the scan and clean...get this on the restart ...will try uninstalling chrome and install again....what browser do you guys use ?

Typically these adware programs install things in your browser no matter which one you use.

Uninstall any programs you dont recognize. Look at the dates you downloaded them. If it was recent and you dont know what it is uninstall.

Download adwcleaner here http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/download/adwcleaner/ its free

After uninstalling all the crap run adwcleaner. That usually takes care of the problem after a reboot.
