I recently got my account 'un-limited', but the troubles aren't over yet. PayPal is requesting the last four digits of my Social Security number or tax ID number to confirm my identity; I have the former, but I'm more than a little reluctant to give them it, considering that I'm under 18. According to the Social Security website, the last four digits reveal nothing incriminating, so I could probably get away with it, but I'm still nervous about it. It's not absolutely essential that I give them this anyway -- confirming my identity is only necessary if I want to add money to my account, which is not super important. However, I will undoubtedly have to provide them this in the future, once doing taxes becomes required... My question is: Should I give PayPal my SSN, and further lie about my age?
