Hi,

I want to create a collection of aged web2.0 blogs and point them to my money/main site.

Here's the little issue am having, hunting for aged web2.0 domains from say tumblr, weebly and co has been hard for my niche (that is getting domains that's really related to my niche) but I am getting aged domains of other niches that are not so cool for what I am doing, I am getting xxx(adult) aged domains.

Here's my question is it advisable to point this to my main/money site or not? If not, how do I do it in order to avoid issues in the long run.

Thank you very much in advance

I think it's not good to use these xx(adult) domains. Using these for tire 2 and 3 may be okay. I will never use these blog even on tire 2 or 3.
Anyway, you can create new web 2.0 blogs for your niche. New blogs works good. You just need to do some relevent tire 2 links.

Thanks for your suggestion but honestly I don't get it clear regarding the tier 2 and 3(does this mean my main site is tire 1; anything like this?)

Also, you made mention of new web 2.0 blogs being good and I just need to do some relevant tier 2 links, how? tier 2 links to the new web 2.0 blogs then new web 2.0 to my main site? or....?

You can point them to money site , if they have good metrics. If you are foucused on rankings, being from any niche they will work good (exception are adult, gambling or spam niches as chance of deletion is high) . But, with the time you will have to build tier links as tumblrs are now loosing their authority after registering. I have tumblr with good metrics but with time they loose it. I guess, this is also due to fred.

Does this means if i point the xxx web2.0 to my money site I'd get penalized?

It is very likely that you, what kind of advertising do you use?

Trust me, you really do not need to care about niche relevancy with web 2.0s. Tumblrs for example are pretty spammy and have links from all over the place all the time. So pick anything that you can repurpose for your niche and you are good to go.

You can use any niche expired web 2.0 for your money site there is no issue to use them.
Yes, niche relevant more powerful than non niche relevant but who cares you can throw tons of link to non relevant expired web 2.0 to make them relevant to your niche ;);)

oh cool, this is nice.

tons of relevant links ti be thrown at web 2.0, isn't it a huge task?

I think you should avoid those that are focused on those XXX, or gambling or loan kind of stuff, as the backlinks on those sites may not be 100% entirely clean, thus, due to the 'used' nature of these web2.0 link profile, you would be better off with a new web2.0, rather than with those unclean link profile from those sites.
But if you are able to grab a web2.0 that has a clean link profile, but on a different niche, then no problem, as you will most likely re-develop that web2.0 to match your niche anyway, but the clean link profile should contribute a little something positive back to your site in the process.
But if all else failed (meaning that you can't find any related niches or any good sites to begin with) there's always those pending expiry domains that could match your link profile and you should also give those a try as well.

There no issue to throw link to them.

Point contextual link to directly to them & than blast contextual links.

Same strategy what we use to boost new web 2.0 nothing new

do you check for expired domains? How can you check tumblr that are not used?

What kind of links are popular to use as a tier 2 for web2.0's? GSA?
Is that even needed if you are just using them for anchor text pillowing or using expired web 2.0's that already have backlinks?
