Okay, so a few days ago I sold something on eBay and just yesterday I got my first eBay invoice. The invoice fee is just a small £1.60. Now I don't mind paying that; actually, I want to pay that since it's just £1.60. But here's the problem, my PayPal is unverified so I can't pay the fee since there's no bank account or credit card linked to it however I have the money to pay for it in my account.

    1) How can I verify my PayPal? I'd prefer a free method because I'm already paying this fee and I want to buy something else that I need although a very cheap way may do if there's nothing else. I can't open a bank account because of personal reasons (hint: parents) and I don't have no credit/debit card.
    2) Can I just tell eBay to take the funds out of my account since I have no credit card etc? And don't they own PayPal so can't they just do this if I allow them to?
    3) What happens if I don't pay it? What's the worse that could happen?

Thanks, when my money is out of my pending balance I'll give him a try.

Do you know the answer to my third question?

Forget the 2nd question, I asked eBay themselves and told me to speak with PayPal so I sent PayPal an email regarding my situation and they just copied and pasted their FAQ similar to my situation, but it wasn't helpful at all. I guess I have to verify the account.

    Home Page:
Go to your My Ebay, hover over the Account tab and select Seller Account. Near the bottom of the page it says "You can maek a one time payment using Paypal". Click that. You can then pay your seller fees that way, from your paypal balance. Even if you don't do anything, ebay will automatically take it from your paypal balance though.

I can't say for sure what happens in the UK if you don't pay it, but here in the US they would eventually suspend your account and likely would report you to a collections agency and they would harass you until you pay.

It didn't work, unfortunately. It asked me for some card details to make a one-time payment but I don't have one.
