[Help] No promotion object found: Please specify a promoted object for the ad set.

This is my first time of running a conversion based ad on Facebook(or any platform at all). My ad set wasn't published citing 'No promotion object found: Please specify a promoted object for the ad set'

I don't even know what's wrong because I've set everything correctly(at least to the best of my knowledge). I have the pixel set and the conversion event set up and created. I've also verified the domain on Aggregated Events Measurements and also configured the event I wanted tracked. I still get that error in the title each time I try to publish ads.

Any tip on how to fix this?

No promotion object found sounds like you missed adding a page or destination website, but that's actually on the Ad level.
Also try deactivating browser your extensions, especially any Ad Blocker

I actually did those. Discovered issue is wit conversion event, which I think I've fixed.

yeah that makes sense, it's always a lot of guessing without actual seeing it.

Had the same issue. I fixed by clicking on Manual Placements under New conversions set in the ad draft. Hope this helps!
