[HELP] News on My Current Blog

I have niche wordpress blog. Now I want to start a news section or make it like an magazine.
Would write news.
As per Google you need a separate Sitemap for News and regular sitemap for blog.

How do i achieve this?

Yoast News would help in achieving this.
But considering it as a start I don't want to invest and buy Yoast News.
Any good alternative?

I checked a while ago and the RankMath team told me that they're working on adding this function. So, maybe check that too!
