hello guru ,

Help needed Some one trying to Hack my Website "Failed login attempts WP website" what do i need to do to secure it ? i have ssl installed but still someone from 5.188.62.76 ip is trying to brute force and log in my WP website .

Thanks
Simon

SSL won't help. Although it's good you've set a limit to logging attempts.

Generate a new complex password.
Install Wordfence, blacklist the IP.

Once the attacks stop, delete Wordfence, it'll make your website slow as F.

may slow down your site some, but you wont have to deal with the same problem over and over again, which will happen

You can also block the IP from your cpanel if you have one:

Install and setup iThemes Security, it should keep you safe with the proper settings.

@simonlev

The traffic value refers to the amount of money you would spend on getting the same amount of traffic but using PPC ( pay per click ) campaigns like Google Adwords.
