Help needed: De-seo negative article

Hi guys!
A friend of mine is mentioned negatively in a certain article posted online. It's really hurting his business, as when you google him this article comes on the 1st position.

- Google are being a bunch of twats and have refused repeated removal requests.
- The webmaster is refusing to take down the article

How can we de-seo this page in relation to his name?

All help is very, very much appreciated.

You need to rank other pages in front of the article to push down the bad articles . Just a little seo and the problem will be fixed if it's not a competitive term

Thanks Makistoj. We've considered that. But additionally, are there any ways to fuck the ranking of the page in question? Does sending bad traffic work?

No, it almost never does. In fact it could actually make the page stronger.

You need to do, or hire someone to do, Online Reputation Management.

Sending bad traffic doesn't do anything . Sending bad links used to be a good method . It's known as negative seo. With googles new update it most likely won't do anything and may actually help the page . If the page has any authority it will definitely just help it rank even better
 
I agree with @BassTrackerBoats and @makistoj. Negative SEO won't help and there isn't much you can do to hurt a site. Suppression would be your best option outside of very expensive ($15,000+) legal counsel.

Google are a bunch of cunts, they don't take down stuff, they just push negative content, so make more negative content that is fake, and that will rank. Their engineers are a bunch of slaves.
 
What did your friend do? If he provided bad service there is still chance to settle the issue.
If he is rich offer to buy that website. Might be expensive but he has to calculate costs of loosing customers and ruining his business.
 
Does anyone have personal experiences on the negative SEO front? I bought tons of Fiverr reviews and planted adult keywords (not in English but in the Euro language the guy was involved in) and the site is losing out slowly. 3-4 positions down on SERPs. If this is temporary or if the site will get stronger, I'll have to do something before shit hits the fan :P

Yeah anyway, it really can cost money to "move" your friend's negative post down and onto google page 2, generally it would need a few sites or posts that is gathering more traffic and searches than the negative post.

Good luck in doing that.. Can be done... what i saw another company do is when they have 1 nice website, they duplicated it and made some changes to the code and the content, and used another similar domain name... and tada, done!! all your own sites on top...

But if JohnLuther does something like this to your friend, i'm not sure how u can undo it...

Hahaha.. this is an ORM job I am handling. I honestly won't spend a penny on my enemies. My life isn't worth that much.

Budget is not a constraint in this project and this has been achieved 40%. Out of every 10 negative links, we have 4 positive stuff ranking from our work. The problem is, our client is targeted by shitheads like WSJ, NYT etc. These sites have so much authority. Shaking them down looks like an impossible task.

The objective of pumping porn filled KWs is to get the negative website links pushed down to 4th or 5th page. So far the results are very dull. While it may sound twisted, I follow my 'ethics' in doing such things :)

How do you go about pumping them with adult keywrods? As in just link from different Porn site comments with adult content? PM me please.
 
Simple method to suppress 1 negative review is to post 10 positive reviews on authority websites which will outrank the negative article. It can be done in less then a week if you know what you are doing.

Luckily i have a list of responsive webmasters list of websites which have alexa and semrush rank of less then 100k, so if we post a guest post on these sites, they rank top 3-5 within 24 hours depending upon the competition. You can try to contact some webmasters of websites(in your niche) who already get good traffic from google, ranking guest posts of such websites is very easy, 700-1000 words guest post with less then 1% keyword density and you will start ranking without any link building work.

For English content, plenty of manual labor is needed. Linking from porn sites should also work. In addition to this buy any 'reputed' link building service from Fiverr (10K to 100K backlink services) and tada! You are done. Fiverr sucks for good linkbuilding but they are so good at screwing a site with bad backlinks. More sales the better.

1 negative review = this strategy is good. Clients that are in trouble with leading publications don't gain much with this approach alone. You need to do something to shake those sites as well. WSJ, Forbes etc can sustain despite massive campaigns.

Another problem is the client's expectations. In my case, the client don't want a blogspot site ranking against a Telegraph article. He want something of quality being there. This makes the proposition tricky because a quality site won't link to someone associated with a scandal.
