HELP: Need Advice on Best Way To Handle This?

I had a toll bill of like $200 I never paid. I owe like $600 in fees and tolls now cuz somehow my sunpass wasn't charging all the tolls I passed through.

Do you think I can negotiate with them to lower the amount. I currently don't have reported income coming in. So I think I can convince them to lower it by saying I don't have a job.

What would you do in this situation?

Not sure how it works where you are, but here if you pass through tolls less than 3 times you can go into the store and pay them. Now anything over that they hit you with major fees, that could result in a warrant for your arrest. It never hurts to try to reason with them, just never admit guilt. They are 9/10 times on a recorded line and admitting guilt to running them will pretty much seal the deal.
 
Yeah here after failed to pays fees it goes to the court then a warrant. So I think I might try a couple calls to try with different ppl to negotiate it. And worst I guess I'll pay it all off.

I just hate how outrages the fees are its like $50 a month.

Ya I ran a total of 4 and in 1 months time my fees were 10x the amount actually owed. Thank god for the EZ tag (basically a tag that links your card to a sticker and anytime you pass a toll it charges it).

You're clearly bringing in some revenue, why not just pay it?
 
@BassTrackerBoats That's not pure profit. I make about $200 from each of those transaction.

Alright if they don't budge I'll pay it all. If it wasn't for them being able to suspend my licence. I wudnt even think about it.

They will suspend your license for sure if it goes too far. You may be able to get them to put you on a payment plan but you want to clear that up ASAP.

I'm no fan of toll roads, and we have our fair share here in Florida, but if you use them you have to pay the piper as he holds all the cards.

Yeah down south you can't go anywhere in your car without passing a toll. They got us locked with the sunpass.

Yeah. I will save me some headache and get this problem cut out of my life.
