Help me setting up and understand Voluum Tracker

Hey there.

So i got Voluum for a couple of days and it seems like everyone is understanding how to use the tracker with the postback urls but me. I literally have no idea how i can explain it, i just don't know where to put in what.

So i want to track the clicks and the conversions, that's all i need.

So if i understand that right, the click id is to track the clicks that voluum registers. But then i have to use the Postback URL and put it into Crakrevenue.

But what comes into cid=REPLACE and what comes into payout=OPTIONAL?
Ive seen @Sephrata mentioning the "aff_sub2 + 3 etc" but what do these variables even mean? There are so much of them (http://prntscr.com/in18k3)

Sorry for the confusion on my side, but i am hella confused with Voluum, lol

Ok, so each network uses a different system with tokens for tracking of clicks and conversions. Now I believe Crakrevenue uses Tune's HasOffers.

You need to use {clickid} for the offer in Voluum, but you need to specify the correct token within Hasoffers:

For the offer link:

affnetworkurl.com/offerlink&aff_sub5={clickid}

For the postback:

hxxps://voluumid.trackvoluum.com/postback?cid={aff_sub5}&payout={payout}&txid={transaction_id}

You could use a different aff sub, but I've been told it's better to use the higher ones with HasOffers.

I should also add, that any network should test the postback with your tracker by sending a dummy conversion. This is a simple thing for them to do in order to make sure your tracker works correctly.

But i am starting to think that the adult media buying niche is very hard (pun intended) for a newbie to get into. Maybe i should stick to general niches.. I don't know..

I wouldn't say it's very hard. I think it takes time and effort, but the skills you will learn are priceless.

You need to stick to an offer or two in a specific geo. If you spread yourself around, you will end up spending too much without being able to optimise.
