Many come with BIOS problems.The case is easy to get scratch and if you open it too quickly after 1 year the hinge get stuck and destroy both bottom and top case.

Go for Dell Latitude E7450 or Precision M2800.Also Toshiba Qosmio X70 or X75 for gaming is a good choice

i always prefer desktop but also needed a laptop , just baught a hpac122tu which is i3 5th gen with 4 gb ram,for $340, i am satisfied with this.

I think this one is in top 10 for laptops under 1200$ and is underpriced for couple hundos

Now scoop that HDD out and replace with SSD, then you have a nice lappie.

If you got a bit of money you should pay the Microsoft surface pro 4, its really nice.
