Hello,

I am looking to buy Asus laptop, I've never really shopped for things like this so I don't know any good stores online
Store must be in EU (for shipping, taxes and stuff)

I want something like this: -quad core i5
- 8+gb ram
-15+ inch

Budget 800-1200$

I've looked at official asus shop and their zenbooks is what I look for- 1099$ , but I'm 100% sure you can buy them for 100-200$ cheaper
It's just that my online shoppng skills are bad...

You can also suggest other brands but Asus in my #1 coz of my experience with their products

Does it have to be a laptop?

I much prefer Desktops - i have 3, all are i5's with 8gb RAM

Yeah, I've tough of desktop but college and stuff, I don't rly play games so laptop is a way to go I guess

I'm using Lenovo G50 with I7 CPU.
Had it for almost a year now and i'm very satisfied with that purchase.

I am a huge fan of Asus as well. Any Asus lappy would work fine, I believe :)

I have chosen Samsung due to outstanding design and ergonomics. And I am happy.

Buy HP envy i5 or i7 with 5th generation they are all awesome speed wise and performance wise

also HP mobilework station Z series are best

That's all cool, I check those machines, do you know any good online shops with nice prices?

My suggestion is Lenovo 15 ' , you buy an extra screen connect it with the HDMI cable on your laptop.
Wireless keyboard GAMER mouse mandatory!! :)
16 GB of RAM
2 graphical cards AMD Radeon / Intel HD Graphics.
1 TB of hard drive. I got all for 900 uds. I think you can buy it even cheaper if you are in USA. Or of you order it online.

I bought this today for a client:

Lenovo ThinkPad Yoga 15 Convertible Laptop
i5 5200u, 8gb ram, 15.6" screen, 256GB ssd.
It came out around $1000+VAT.
Probably this would be cheaper in the US anyway.

My advise to you is ensure you get an SSD because the machine will run like lightening.

i know you wont listen to me, but desktop has real curves instead of those laptop, i wish i can change your mind

Hp Envy i5 or i7 series are best
I repair laptops for living.HP Envy are the worst laptops due to heating problems.Especially the ones with 3D.Never buy one or will be money thrown out off the window.

If you are looking for a long duration laptop go for Toshiba or Dell.Don't buy something that is too expensive, but something that is easy to upgrade later.Choose the best SSD Samsung 850 PRO and take in consideration the video chipset and the laptop structure, if it is easy to access the heating part to change the thermal paste. Many laptops are getting burnt because of that.
