Help me BHW to get over my depression

Hello BHW,

I am an introvert and don't want anyone to know this in real life,

My problem, My age is 24 now and still weight is 43 Kgs/94.7988 lbs, due to this i am ignored at many places in daily life. this is main reason i am depressed from along time but with time I somehow managed to live and it means ignore all the people who try to speak/talk with you. No one takes me serious :(

Making a steady good income which is a good thing in my country as most of the people make average here which is much less, Tried to hit the gym and diet 2 times in 6 months, but due my hectic schedule, I am not able to cover everything (I work 17 to 18 hours a day) for this steady income and i cannot stop doing this.

Gym and diet plan went well only for a week and one cannot get results in just a week.

I also smoke weed everyday in the evening to be stress free for some time, but believe me smoking weed hasn't effect my work till now.

I am not the entertaining person for the people who i live around/with cause they always do gossip about games, movie TIKTOK, betting, gambling and whatever the reason maybe they don't understand my work at all, So i prefer to stay away from all these distraction.

Want to increase my weight atleast 20 Kgs more, I cannot bear this being an underwieght and look like teenager.

I know BHW has some of the best/scary/wild/pity/motivated story that you cannot find anywhere else.

Please suggest me how can i manage this with my work schedule.

Again please fellas help me.

I grew up skinny and I know how hard it is to eat a lot of food to gain weight.

But there’s easy ways to do it, even around a busy schedule.

My biggest advice is to start your day off RIGHT with a big breakfast. I know I know, you don’t have an appetite in the morning. Mix up a shake with a cup of oatmeal, cup of milk, scoop of protein, and 2 tbsp of peanutbutter and down it as quick as possible. That’s already 800 calories! This will also get your metabolism going and make you hungrier throughout the day.

Also, don’t snack on junk food throughout the day, that’s a really good way to ruin your appetite. Wait for your meals and eat big!

Learn how to eat great man and dont mind to spend money on food. when you put money on food you put money on yourself, what you eat is a representation of yourself.

your stomac is your second brain.

if you eat snack made by some random trash industry you feel like crap.

if you eat some fresh vegetable handmade you feel better, some food can increase your health and your testoterone.

And you're wondering why you're weighing only 43 kg?

You know what you have to do, but instead, you're asking us the question for approval? You already said it yourself - eat healthily, work less, go out more.

I dont know you but I gues that your weight is not the reason for your depression. try to get professional help and go to a psychotherapist. if you earn more than average you probably can afford it. its not a weakness to seek profesional help and I know many people who really helped talking to psychotherapist. and they were introverts as well.

I guess somewhere you have to strike a balance or make a compromise if you really want to take care of your health. 17 to 18 hours of work is lot of hours, try to save some time for relaxation and follow a healthy diet. And cheer up never let inferiority complex eat you up, its like a parasite which sucks you dry of all happiness and good health.

Just kidding!

Go talk to a therapist to begin with. Your weight/looks has nothing to do with you being taken seriously. Speak to a dietitian if you really want to increase your weight. Also, weed isn't really a bad thing if you want to increase your weight. You just need to follow that up with some heavy, but healthy meal. My suggestion, eat 6 times a day. Don't eat too much, but eat frequently. It works!

Improve your diet, lift heavy, read books, go to the doctor and get a prescription.

Eating junk food will not make you gain weight.
I had that problem too. Then i started cooking jyself and gainee weight.

Again the problem here is time, I live alone starting the day at 6 AM working till 9 am after 1 hour long journey reach at office and then work for 9 hours coming back at 8 PM working again till 12 PM and then 30 mins book ready which helps me to get sleep.

Meditation, affirmations, visualization. You have to gain control of your mind to be able to obtain self discipline. Youtube has a lot of videos that'll help you do this. If you want to meditate to music, get to know the significance of hz. Work with the laws of the universe, not against them. I know this may not seem like the answer, but if you truly dedicate yourself you will see results, these simple practices can help more than you imagine. In order to obtain external results, you must start internally. We are all one, I wish you great success and happiness.

First of all, you need to like yourself (I know it's not easy, but you really need to at least work on this, no matter what), stop comparing yourself to others, absolutely you should not hate other people because in your opinion they look better than you (I know people like this, they will literally HATE you and blame you that you look "better" in their eyes, very annoying) and also you should stop looking for validation from others. Internal work is the best cure for low self-esteem.

I try to work on myself every single day. I am making mistakes, I am not perfect but at least I am trying to be better, overall as person, but not for others, only for myself.

And of course, it's good to go to the gym and keep diet, but do this more for yourself and your mental health, rather than for other people. And remember (I know, it's cliche) the most beautiful people are those you have good hearts and beautiful souls.
