Hey guys! I manage a movie streaming website trailers.to, and I've always thought that my server locations are well hidden. However, to my surprise, someone was able to mention the locations to me. I'm still at a loss how he came by that information.

The help I need from you guys now is this: Please, help check to see if you can tell the server location(s) of trailer.to, and how you were able to get it. I need this information so I can know what steps to take so as to properly cover my tracks. Feel free to DM your thoughts if you do not want to make it public.

Thank you in advance ;)

I may be able to help you, let me know if you still want help.

trailers.to or trailer.to , you posted 2 different in your question. if it's trailers.to, which I hope it isin't, your issue is that your real MX record is leaking. So they will report you to DigitalOcean. I can see you are hosted in Digitalocean. That's really bad, especially because I see that site is hosting pirated movies.

How do we know this is actually your site and your not trying to blackmail someone else?

Blackmail someone? Nah! Here's how you know I'm for real. View my post on a desktop computer, and you would see I have a banner to the same website(trailers.to) attached to my profile. I can't possibly be promoting what I'm sabotaging...makes no sense. Would appreciate your 2cents, btw.

Mate, sorry about the typo. The actual site name is trailers.to. Btw, I'd like to know how you came by the info that my site is hosted on digitalocean. There's no such thing - I've got nothing to do with them. I'm really curious as to how you came about this.

There's nothing revealing on whois though.

Couldn't they just watch a packet sniffer and connect to the site, and that would show every single detail? Wouldn't quote me on this, maybe someone else can confirm?

He did it through domain reverse ip search. Nothing fancy.

And what's the problem if you use fake info and pay with crypto?

I hope you know how to cover your ass like the basic stuff vpn, VM etc
