Hello, after 3 years of using hostgator services,i think its time to go away from them.

Im not here to make negative comments about hostgator services, but i think that they are not same company as few years ago.

Im searching for good hosting company, i have 4 wordpress websites,so feel free to recommend me your hosting provider.

Im a bit worried about hosted files and domain.
What i should to do to everything be Ok? Im afraid of losing rankings of google if anything goning to be bad ...
How to renew domain, because main domain expiring as hostining plan, can i renew it on my new hosting company ?

Hostgator charges 142$ for one year renewal for hosting plan. My budget is 100$ per year.

Thanks

I moved from hostgator about a year ago and chose poweruphosting. These guys moved all my websites for me without having to do anything. I suppose you can find other hosts too that will help you with the transfer. Don't worry you will not lose rankings for a couple of hours downtime.

Try HostMantis. Use Premium Hosting link available in the footer. I'm using it.

If 50GB/500gb works for you, I have a discount coupon that will get you 80% (or 70% - I don't remember) off on yearly payment. A good deal, isn't it?

And they'll transfer all your sites from HG.

Many hosting companies will transfer everything for you for free.

For decent hosting providers, check out the marketplace: http://www.blackhatworld.com/forums/hosting.196/ or Google. Be sure to check out reviews first.

I use Nimbus Hosting (the same as BlackHatWorld Uses) - Let me know if you need anymore information about them - PM me :)

You shouldn't loose rankings if you keep your domain valid, renew it on your current host, or transfer it to a different registrar, sometimes different companies have offers and you may find prices cheaper if you look around. :)

Well, thanks for your answers guys! I have some niche wordpress sites, what do you think,is 50GB/500gb enough for me?
I thing 50Gb is enough, but not sure about 500gb Transfer, is that traffic transfer?
Thanks

Well, 500gb is traffic transfer (bandwidth) which is more than enough unless you have a very-very busy site - in that case you've to go for VPS.

Regarding 50 GB, log into your current cpanel and check your statistics - Disk usage under Disk Space - and see how much space you're using right now.

You can also check the traffic bandwidth there. Check Bandwidth under General head and see how much you've used till date. Then multiply it with 2.5 (as you'll see it for the current month - 12 days). The total would be the bandwidth that you'll be needing per month on an average.

Hope this helps. :)

Whatever you choose, just make sure it is not another company that is owned by Hostgator's owner EIG, because you will get more of the same with any of them.

I saw that Hostgator own a lot of hosting agencies, they cant handle their customers... Call support is awful, price is climbing every year...
I should see some unlimited bandwidth, hosting space is not primary problem.

Thank you,you helped me a bit for sure.

I use Dreamhost for shared and VPS hosting. With coupons I got a VPS deal for a stupid $11 a month, fully managed.

Have a look at FastComet Hosting. As per my experience, they are one of the best hosting providers and they have some awesome features which you will surely love.

What about Wordpress hosting ? Is this thing really better than classic shared hosting?

You should hire a vps hosting

HostGator services expensive when entering vps hosting.

4 ram enough to accommodate your wordpress website

You shouldn't worry too much about moving and it effecting your rankings. If you move to a host that offers free migration your downtime will be minimal

You should consider managed wordpress hosting for your wordpress domains

we can provide you shard hosting within your budget and with free domain transfer or renewal, send me a site pm me if you need more details or visit the following link

http://www.blueangelhost.com/shared.html

Check out Kvchosting deals. They have good performance and support will definitely assist with migration

OP you can go with poweruphosting they have great support and fast servers. Cost is affordable.

HostGator is the most reputed web hosting provider hosting over 8 million domains, and hundreds of thousands of WordPress ... Im leaving hostgator by tonight.
