    Hello,

    I've been trying to remove the date that appears in the description on the search results page and no luck at all. It's been more than 1 month and I tried all kinds of recommended scripts (which are not many).

    Does someone has a working script/plugin for WP to do this? How do you guys deal with this issue?

    Any recommendation is welcomed!

    Thank you

    You may try this code in the functions.php child theme

    Code:
    function remove_post_dates() {
    	add_filter('the_date', '__return_false');
    	add_filter('the_time', '__return_false');
    	add_filter('the_modified_date', '__return_false');
    } add_action('loop_start', 'remove_post_dates');

    you just need to change the wp settings that define how to display the date, just leave the settings empty
