HELP - Getting sued by a game company

They can always ask your hosting company for your details. I got contacted by some lawyer through hostgator. (on email)

I have been in the same situation twice already. Once just because domain was "confusingly" similar to their trademarked one and it was in same niche (2 normal everyday words that werent even in same order as in that trademarked word). I dont know if they could win if they sued me, but i really didnt wanna go through this trouble for a domain that was just bought for some testing and didnt make me any money.

Both of those lawyers send some pdf with legal crap. They always added their real address and real phone number with their logos etc. They email was from their website (not some gmail or somehting) You can always check if phone number or website is real. So if it looks like that its probably not fake. Just i dont understand why would they ask for any money after transferring domain to them. You sure it was successfully transferred?

Maybe he successfully transferred the domain to a scammer, and now the real company just happens to be coming after him... bad luck.
