Could someone please tell me how the application process for maxbounty works?

The thing that really puts me off about it is the website url that they ask on the application itself. I'm not entirely sure what sort of website they want. Do they want a website where its an expo of my business? Or do they want a website as a portfolio of works in the past? Or do they want a website where they can measure traffic? It's super confusing for me because I don't unnecessarily want to buy a domain and spend time on making the website for nothing.

I've also heard the rumor that you don't need a website to apply for maxbounty. How true is this?

And as for the telephone interview. Lucky for me, I live in Ottawa so I'm not gonna get charged long distance :D. However, being new and everything...what are the chances that I'll get rejected? I don't want to get rejected because it seems like a solid network. I'm not entirely new in terms of the ins and outs of cpa marketing, I've been researching for 2 weeks now.

They would like to see good potential in url. Legit site, good possibility that it can convert offers well basically. Dont want to see possible trouble for them.

Call them first before they call you.

These are my opinions

Could you tell me if it's 100% required to put in a website? I understand that it's possible to make sub-domains, but I want to let them know that I'll be ready to make landing pages asap once I know which offers/niches I'll be catering to.

And yea, I'll definitely be calling them back 1st. How soon do you reckon I should call back after singing up?

Honestly I dont know for sure. My guess would be that "i am figuring out niches" would scare them as you might end up making a bad image for them or choosing niches against their terms.

I would call next day after signing up.

Again these are my opinions I am not expert with maxbounty.

Hopefully expert will pop in with better answers for you

If you have no website and no domain and no experience why the hell would they waste time with you?

Build a solid foundation first.

Reaching out to potential network partners before you're ready is like asking a MILF for a hook-up before you've hit puberty.

Thanks for the reply.

But maybe you could answer my questions and not post generic and useless platitudes? All I want is concrete answers.

And for the record, I do have a domain and I do have a website. But like I mentioned, I don't know what they want specifically.

They want your website url that you plan to use to promote their offers , capiche?

If you don't know what your talking about don't get into discussions, you just sound dumb.
I got approved right away even though the URL I entered was for one of my random websites, I just explained how I'm getting traffic to their offers and they were fine with that and accepted me.
Will I be approved if I don't have a website?
Maybe. How will you advertise our sponsors? Call the affiliate manager assigned to your application and have that discussion.

UPDATE:

I signed up today and called them and got accepted. I didn't need any website. All I had to do was be honest and straight forward.
Congrats! Good work! Now let the games begin!

I am often dumb but I do know about it as I've had rejections initially but by contacting them I was able to explain my plans and got accepted.

I'm glad the OP got in, I guess my first reply was off the mark because I did the same as you, just entered one of my URLs to complete the form.

Now I'll try and not sound dumb: complete the application process as best you can and if you get rejected call them and you should get approved.

A positive and eager marketer means more to them than just a url so never give up!

All the best!

I do think that Maxibounty just operate like other popular platforms. What you need to do is being able to go through the rules that govern such like platforms. The main reason why people are not easily accepted by the platforms is because they are not ready to work around the regul;ations. Main reason being, because they are not aware of what need to be done. Be on the lookout btw.
