Help finding the best webhost for my site

Hello, I am moving my adult blog to wordpress self-hosting yet I just found out that I bluehost doesn't allow adult material. I'm currently looking for a reliable and reputable hosting service. My site will be posting images and embed video so I think I need unlimited disk space.

Currently deciding between hostgator and godaddy. Godaddy is the cheapest now for a 12 month package. However, the initial reason I chose bluehost was because I read on this forum and others that bluehost was better.

Can someone suggest a good webhost for a porn blog?

Try something in the netherlands, they care little about adult sites.

Assuming that was sarcasm :yield:. I need something reputable and trustworthy on a U.S. server. I'm moving my adult blog because it's already popular enough where I'm making money from it and according to my stats an overwhelming amount from the U.S.

I'm using amerinoc for my adult content and haven't had any problems with them.

I actually cannot offer "unlimited" space because I dont have terabytes of space. I'm sure I can offer enough. I have a few servers.. but here is some information anyways..

1) nginx - I use nginx which performs so much better then apache.
2) dual socket quad core CPU's - thats 8 cores.
3) 16GB of ram.

I have a few of those - I dont use cpanel - I have another open source control panel - ISPConfig which works very well - I have checked with my datacenter and adult content is not a problem. My servers are in Dallas - really good routes anywhere - great hub. The issue with godaddy - is go daddy. Sure - i will cost more then 40 bucks a year and you will have direct access to me on a very idle server not overloaded or shared with 1000s of websites.. I am online all the time - here by phone or Skype, email, etc.. and you will stay online.

Hostgator does accept Adult websites. They stated in their forum that they accept adult websites which are legal in the US. Just like that. As you have said, your website has a huge amount of traffic from the US so I would suggest you go for Hostgator and I have heard that Godaddy hosting is pretty slow so I would not recommend you that.

I agree with Joesolutions above, Hostgator can accept adult websites and Hostgator is proven webhost so you should go with them..

Ya you are write godaddy is one of cheapest as well as good service provider site and reputable. if there will any problem thay will fully cooperate with you and solve the problems

Thanks everyone! I really did consider everyone's opinions and suggestions. Dreamhost seems polished but still very expensive compared to others. Lastnight I almost went A Small Orange but they only have good reviews for customer service and a lot of bad reviews for frequent downtimes. Ultimately I decided either hostgator or go daddy. I do need to also purchase the private domain service.
