I managed to create a few accounts automatically but now I just get an error. Do I need different/better proxies or does the problem lie somewhere else?

Without knowning exactly what your doing, you need proxy for each one, and different user agent for each account you create.

I do have rotating agents and proxies, could old/"bad" agents be the problem? Or is it that the form is filled out really unhumanlike?

could be the proxies are flagged I would say.

Most proxies are flagged for account creation even residential proxies, it is normal to get an error message.
Also you're chromedriver/selenium might be leaving footprints

Do you know of a way to automate the 4g/airplane mode proxy method?

Yeah haha. Do you know if there is a way to avoid the review process where you have to upload a photo and wait? The accounts aren't going to be active

buy account with cookies and use proxy. Don't register them yourself

Try to create on a mobile device via the Facebook app (both for iOS and Android) and use it like a normal user for a week. After that, you can log your account on your PC with its own proxy

Is it good idea and reliable to create profile via Mozilla (each FB account profile on each Mozilla profile) with residental proxy,what do you think?
