[HELP] can i target this keyword?

hey guys :) i have recently started using market samurai. and i wanna enter micro-niche blogging. however i am still learning the ropes.

i found a keyword with less than 50 searches a day and a potential click thru of 10 per day to the top ranking site acc to MS

i did some competition reseach and this is what MS gave me:

is it possible for me to beat that site? considering that the top ranking article is actually nested deep within the site. with some good SEO and backlinks to a domain with the keyword in it, can i rank first?


and yeah, are 10 visits per day good enough for a micro-niche blog?

You could certainly rank for it getting enough backlinks and doing the right on-page optimization.

However, I don't think 10 visitors a day is enough to justify the time you'll need to put in. This is only my opinion though!

Personally, I aim for around 100 visitors or more, should my site be ranked #1 of course. BUT, like I said, it depends. If you are going to promote something that could bank you $100 per sale, and you have 10 visitors with a pessimistic 5% conversion rate, that would be $50 per day! It all depends on how you plan to monetize that traffic :)
 
for a niche that have less than 50 search/day, ...i think the competiotion 's consider hard IMO...because you still have pr 3-6 for your competitor. why don't you search another keywords with less SEOC. my suggestion is don't make too fast decision to enter niches... beacuse there is always a lot of better and better keywords out there ... but if you have TLD keyword for that niche... yes, you'll absolutely become #1...
 
for this particular i don't really have a product. looking to promote via adsense. i have heard product related ads pay more per click, so even if i get 2 clicks a day with good monetization, i should be good for about $2-4 a day from one site with just 5-6 articles.

these are the kind of sites i am looking to build. am i heading in the right direction?
 
it's not worth for that kind of competition and your effort later.
 
One of my sites is product-related, though it's not a high margin product so I guess advertisers pay less per click. I get around $0.50 per click on average. Market Samurai's AWCPC shows $1,27. Hope that helps.

I'm not sure getting a 20% CTR will be that easy though, my highest CTR has been 15% so far.

If you plan on going ahead with this site, be sure to get your main keyword in your domain, that will really help.

mate u need to aim higher, I totally agree 10 visits in not worth your effort alone forget time :P

try minimum 80-100, I've managed to beat some competition just by having the keyword in the domain + few backlinks if its not a high competition niche, if u have any Qs just ask.
 
if you can get sales from the 10 visits, and make money. you can do that.
