I created a website for a family friend, and agreed to build the site for one fifth of the cost they were intially quoted from an online organisation. Anyway the site is complete and the person is more than happy with the website, but they are saying the shop which i designed the website for (offline) isn't doing too well because its xmas. Now if this were true i honestly could understand, but this person lives in a £300,000 house, has 4 businesses and is loaded. They paid half and i was promised the other half last week, but its not looking likely. Im gutted to be honest, i put a lot of hours into the site, and only charged the extremely low price because they were a family friend. What should i do?, ive thought about ripping the site down, but ive been paid half so that wouldn't be ethical. Its a week tommorow till xmas and that money was allocated to presents for my kids. im gutted guys... Any suggestions?, p.s. its a wordpress shopping cart site with over 300 products on it. i even paid for shopperpress out my own pocket lol. <<<<<MUG!! Any suggestions about what i should do?, i cant afford to pay out to take this to a small claims court.
