Hello There! Making a change for myself

Greeting BHW! After months of lurking these forums, I've decided it is time I take the leap and invest my time and energy into myself.

I am in my early 20's, and I work in the fine culinary/dining industry by trade. And while it does fill my soul, it leaves my pocket rather empty. Despite working 12-14 hours a day at a brutal job, the pay is rather shit and I walk away with so little. Even though my hard work will pay off years ahead when I have the resume to begin working as a chef, these years have been so hard and there are many ahead. Fed up with struggling pay-check to pay-check I've decided it is time to build some side-income for myself so I can finally build savings.

My goals are not to get rich quick, or even rich at all. I hope to be able to provide more income to myself so I, and my fiance, can have a life with less worry. Through my research I've seen that monetizing Instagram seems to be a solid route for starting in this market and plan to being starting up in it within the next week or two. That being said, I have plenty of motivation but not much experience.

I hope to begin my journey to living a better life soon, and I'm excited to grow through the info available here! There are so many members here that are very experienced, and I'd be more than willing to help them (or you) grow in their projects in exchange for experience. Getting first hand experience would be a massive aid to my progression, and I'm more than willing to provide aid in exchange. To anyone this may interest, I own and have plenty of experience/skill in photo equipment, Photoshop, illustrator, 3d modeling, aftereffects, video editing, pretty much anything for creating graphic content (I was very into painting and animation when I was a bit younger as a hobby).

I look forward to my progression forward, and perhaps any relationships I can build through these forums!

Since you said you're experienced in graphic design, another route you could consider is opening up a graphic design sales thread here on Black Hat World once you meet the requirements. You can also use the Hire A Freelancer section to take on odd jobs in order to gain more experience, just be sure to research anyone you plan on working with. Just know that you can't offer your services outside of the marketplace or outside of relevant threads in the Hire A Freelancer or Want To Buy sections (Rule 12).
