Hello. Seeking some getting started advice.

I would like some suggestions on where to start in IM. I have a bachelor in CS and worked as a consultant for 6 years doing CRM software dev and admin. My creativity and personality were stifled and my boss was abusive. I believe I am smart and creative enough to do something on my own so I found this website. My dream is to work for myself from home. They say the majority of millionaires are self-employed. I have been bouncing between making a PBN/a website with tutorials and articles on personal interests or starting to build a stock portfolio. My interests are being a guitarist/vocalist for an indie rock band, 3d printing/prototyping, EE, and programming/development(currently C++, SQL, ksh, java). I am trying to determine what is better to focus my efforts on initially to start seeing a return ASAP. I figured website was the place to start including keyword analysis, link-building, SEO, etc. Thanks, Doug.
