Just joined the forum and glad to be here!

I love this place!

Things have changed alot it seems - a few years ago, it seemed near impossible to find decent BH tools and knowledgeable people who shared information.

Looking forward to contributing where I can and trying to get up to speed on the latest tools and techniques.

If I ask the occasional total newbie question bear with me...

How about I answer with a story....

Once upon a time the US Gov didn't have as much of a hate on for online pharmacy, casinos etc. The search engines rewarded comment spam in a big way and you could still get somewhat honest developers in India to build blackhat tools for $0.75 per hour.

Yes I miss the good ol' days...

On a serious note, I've done well doing things white hat the last couple of years but somehow there is a perverse thrill playing the cat and mouse game where you can make a killing or get sites banned faster than you can build them.

Google has been hammering some of my nice clean sites recently and I ask myself if playing by their rules is really worth it anymore...

I would agree 100% - BH is good for short term income while a person uses clean techniques to build a long-term income strategy.
