Hey,
Im from Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. Land of samba and football - probably not anymore - Neymar's fault.
I own a company (+50 employees); and the problem is that people in Brazil are living an in the world economical crisis ever in it's history. As a result of that, my sales team doesn't work effectively as it used to, because our services aren't cheap as they used to be. Last 3 months Google Adwords was able to beat our sales team with a much smaller budget.
That said, at least in my niche, SEO is the future - as an always-late third world country people are realizing that only now.
I'm learning how to build-up the company website myself because we hired a SEO company (that's how we call it in english?), and it was a disaster, I learned the basics and found out that they did a terrible job.
And if anyone need any information about Rio de Janeiro/ other cities in Brazil, feel free to ask! I probably won't have a lot of good things to tell about Rio itself, but I'll do my best.
