Hello BHW Friends!

Hi there!
My name is dan, and this is my first post to BHW.

I'm am looking to start my journey toward self-employment. I'm currently working a job to pay my bills, but I do have some free time to get stuff done, and I need some help to do so. My current goal is to replace the job I have now to pay the bills with self-employment income. I have a number of skills, including: building computers, troubleshooting, web development and game development experience.

Not quite sure which niche is best suited for me, been debating in my mind for a while, maybe y'all can help me.

Anyway, look forward to meeting some of you all.

Once you understand the basics of that, you should have a more rounded view of which direction you want to take. Personally, I like to look in as many sections as possible whenever I am on this forum. I recommend checking out the Journeys section as you will find a lot of inspiration there and some ideas you may not have initially considered from people who may have a similar skillset to yours.

It goes without saying you should also look at the Making money section, but for the long term I would have a look at the blogging section and also this guide by hekke:

It may give you some inspiration to start your own blog. With your knowledge in computers/games and troubleshooting you could perhaps share some unique insight on your website. Baby steps, but I know you will enjoy the learning process and time spent here.
