Hello BHW, confuse with many annotation (CPA, etc)

Hello, I am a newbie, and recently want to try this life hack method haha. Have read many posts but confused with many new 'annotation' could someone give me an enlightenment many of these things around? (like what the means of CPA, CPM how to use it to may website)
