Hi Froger and thanks for the AMA. I posted this in another AMA about an hour ago but I want multiple takes on this, so if you have input I would very much appreciate it:

Today I created 4 IG accounts in niches that I'm personally interested in. My goal is to learn about content creation and social media management while growing out these accounts. I eventually plan to monetize all them with some type of product or service, and on the meta-level, open up my own social media management company.

Am I completely naive for thinking I can grow these accounts out organically with rich content, collaborating with influencers, doing interviews, etc.? Or do I HAVE to bot?

Will I be able grow in 2018 without supplementing them with botting? I really do not want ghost followers/useless followers.

My reasoning is that if I grow these out organically and monetize them, I can use them as my resume. They will look nice and I will come across as an authority, and it will be easy for me to close deals when I decide to pitch my SMM to potential clients.

Or should I just do bot arbitrage like some of these bullshit SMM companies that run their clients accounts on FollowLiker and charge them $300/mo?

What's the future of legit, engaged IG accounts?

Is a cloaker just as safe as a prelander?

You don't need to host your own pre lander but it helps & in my opinion, cloakers are more effective than prelanders (they serve the same purpose)

A cloak cloaks the link from IG crawlers.

To avoid your prelander from being flagged/blacklisted on browsers from overused pre-lander sources. I've seen something similar happen to content lockers.

Does hosting change the url for each prelander? Can I use the same prelander for multiple accounts?

Yes it does change the URL & Yes you can use the same prelander for multiple accounts but I would stick to under 5 accounts per prelander (the fewer the better).

I am Using IPhone landing page in my IG , I don't understand What type of posts Should I post to make People engage?
Is there any proper way that I can engage my followers?
 
@froger what is your favourite manual method to gain followers on IG?

I'd suggest posting high quality pictures of new iPhones displaying different colors / models with a description explaining to people how they can get one by going to your landing page. I'd also suggest throwing in some hashtags as well.

As far as engaging your followers, watching stories, liking, and commenting on latest news feed items is a good place to start. ;)

I don't use any manual methods! Automation, automation, automation! (as I type this out manually).
 
@froger , which proxy provider would you recommend to use with IG accounts to avoid follow block and things like that?

It seems like residential proxies are a fix to this problem & I have no current proxy provider recommendation, sorry. I'll be sure to let folks know when I find a reliable provider here on BHW.
 
Hey @froger I have been having an issue with my IG account lately. I have been using a service to automate my followers and everything was going well until recently. I got a PV and after sending the code in, my account was back online but ever since then I'm kind of not able to follow anyone manually. My provider says there are no issues on his end when following but whenever I try to manually follow an account I get hit with this action has been blocked message.

Even though it gives me the message it still allows me to follow(if that makes sense)...I let the account rest for 5 days recently. Paused the bot and did not do anything manually either. Went back online yesterday and after a few follows I got hit with action blocked message again. The bot is still paused so I don't know what is wrong. Everything else with the account is fine except for the fact that I can't follow anyone without getting the action blocked message every time I try. Likes and comments are normal with the last 3 post I've made but I'm worried that by following manually I will get banned.

Any ideas as to what might be causing this or any advice you would recommend?

Try using a residential proxy and see if that helps!

They are just using a bot to follow and like. The settings were set to 600 followers a day. I will send you the link through PM.

Edit: No there is no link in my bio

If someone else is botting on the account, I would highly advise you to not engage at all on your end.
