Having bad time! YouTube Views Dropped Drastically

Though I not much believer of luck but now I am forced to... finding no reason!

One of my YT channels dropped its daily views suddenly, drastically... 50K per day to 1K per day!
Subs Gain dropped from 300+ daily to 5+
Also found, not even a single video showing in 'Suggested Videos'!

It happened within few weeks! To be precise, it started dropping from 23-Sep-2018.

Old channel... 5 years or so
39K Subscribers
I upload 1 video per week.
Never boosted... grown organically.
Not much change in niche competition.

Any idea? Any algo change?

this is natural this how yt works you must continue your work, make it more good! i experince the same but i continue everyday is a hustle!

Sorry to hear about the traffic loss, newon! Unfortunately there's not a whole lot that can be done here. If an algorithm tweak negatively impacts the source of your viewership by dropping your search ranking/s, removing your video/s from a suggestion next to a relevant viral video, etc. it sucks but you can't change it. You've just gotta keep creating content, adapt to known algorithm changes (if any) and hope future videos take off in the same way your older videos did.

Regarding the reason for the drop; where was most of the views coming from? I'm guessing suggested, but was it all from a specific video or two? Go to analytics > select time-frame before the drop > go to traffic sources > suggested videos > and check what happened to the videos that were driving most of the viewers to your content. It could be that your traffic source was hit by an algorithm update in turn fucking you over.

I also have this problem....but now it seems that slowly everything goes ba3 to normal.

yes, there was a large youtube update it's seems to be related with algo changes they do

Same happening in here, i cannot even find some of my videos from YT search.

They recover, they drop again.

I have the same problem,it's a new channel ,80% of the views comes from suggested video.but 4 days ago the view dropped ,50k views per day to 10k per day.I don't know why and how .

Today uploaded one video... as per weekly schedule. Also scheduled a few more.
Fingers crossed

I see now a big decrease in my views!

Another week gone but not much improvement. Anyone found any solution?

Fucking Youtube just decided to no longer promote my videos right before the fucking Black Friday. My views went from 60k to aprox 15k .... so my chance to make some money greatly diminished.
