    Hi
I have a photography account where I post my own photos and I just discovered that there's something strange with top posts on hashtags. My latest photo is showing amongst the top posts of a few hashtags when viewing from that specific account. But when I visit those hashtags in incognito mode my photo doesn't appear amongst the top posts on some of the hashtags but appear on others.

Do you guys know why this is happening?
If I was shadow banned then the photo shouldn't appear in any of the hashtags, especially not amongst the top posts.

The hashtag searches are now running a new algorithm and no longer specifically chronological order.
Top posts & hashtag searches are now based on people you follow not globally across the whole platform.

    Thanks for the reply :)
Well that sucks but makes sense. So basically this new algorithm ''cripples'' hashtags (at least for non-popular accounts)? The strength with hashtags was the chronological order and the global consistency in top posts.

Someone in another thread said the same thing with hashtags happens to one of his 1M+ accounts as well. The article I read also stated it is with both individual & business accounts.

They want it to be pay-to-play same as Facebook a few years ago.
