Has anyone tested replying to comments fast in the first hours after publishing?

I’ve been thinking about this because on a few videos where I stayed active right after uploading, replying to people as they came in, it kind of felt like the video kept getting pushed a bit longer.
Not sure if that actually makes a difference or if I’m just seeing patterns where there aren’t any. Could just be the videos themselves performing better for other reasons.
I haven’t done any proper testing yet, just something I noticed a couple of times, in some of my channels
if anyone here has tested this more seriously or seen consistent results from it,Is it possible to share the experience?

I know someone that got one of their best video viewing figures, cause they made a "You decide the next part" as the video finished, and then they built the sequel.

I think to be successful on YouTube the rule is upload hundreds of good videos, over a decade or more if you can, and you'll probably be a top performer, and worth their serious viral attention. Upload just one and expecting to go viral or even 1000 very bad videos, and you'll never get anywhere.

Content is king on youtube. I don't think you can succeed by using "Methods" and "secrets" lol

Concentrate on your content rollout, sustain it, improve it, and keep going for the day you very likely go viral.

You’re partly right but it’s indirect.

Replying early => more comments =>more engagement => better reach.

It doesn’t boost the video by itself, but it can extend momentum if the content is already good.

It definitely works. It’s all about engagement velocity. When you reply, you basically double the comment count and signal to the algorithm that the video is 'hot'. I always try to stay active for the first 2 hours - it's a standard practice for many big channels.

You're definitely not imagining things. By replying rapidly within the first couple of hours, you instantly double your initial engagement count. More importantly, your replies trigger push notifications that pull those users right back to the app, feeding the algorithm massive session-time signals that force wider audience testing.

it sure does. fast replies boost early engagement signals which can extend the push a bit, especially if it keeps people commenting
