Has Anyone Tested "Entity Flooding" for New Sites?

I've been noticing that some newer websites seem to gain topical relevance faster when they focus heavily on entity coverage rather than traditional keyword targeting.

The basic idea is:

• Create 20-30 supporting articles around related entities.
• Interlink everything aggressively.
• Mention brands, people, products, and concepts related to the niche.
• Build a few contextual backlinks to the hub pages.

In some cases, it feels like Google understands the site's topic much faster than with a standard keyword-focused approach.

Has anyone here tested entity-first SEO at scale?

Did you see faster rankings, better indexing, or no noticeable difference compared to traditional topical clusters?

I wouldn't call it entity flooding, but comprehensive topic coverage has worked well for me.
The key seems to be relevance rather than just mentioning lots of entities.
