Has anyone noticed ad reach dropping like crazy lately?

My campaigns were doing fine until last week (same budget, same creatives) but the reach suddenly dropped by 60%. Is this something to do with Facebook’s latest algorithm update?

It’s possible that Facebook has just updated its delivery algorithm. Also, repeating the same ad copy for a long time or having duplicate audiences can cause a significant drop in reach. Try refreshing the copy, completely copying a new campaign, and monitoring for a few days to reassess.

Could be the new FB algo, I noticed it favors fresh content over old tried-and-true posts lately

Most likely, yes. Algorithm updates often shift who and how many people see your ads. Focus on refreshing your creatives and testing new audiences to regain reach quickly.

Yes I feel the same. When I used the same copy too long or hit overlapping audiences, my reach also dropped hard. I usually refresh creatives and restart the campaign, then wait a few days to see if things settle

This is definitely a new Facebook algorithm. I also noticed that new content is prioritized over old posts that have performed well in the past.

facebook algorithm is a part, do you think your product is saturated and there are many people selling that product

Yes, I’ve noticed the same thing recently. It seems like reach has become less stable, even with consistent setups.

Time to refresh your campaigns, try another creative and a new audience

Algorithm changes are also a factor that affects reach, but there are many other factors such as ad saturation, competition, high costs...

Falling reach coupled with rising costs, algorithm changes get mentioned a lot, but the competitive landscape also needs to be mentioned here.

yeah you’re not the only one, reach has been weird lately. facebook’s probably testing something on the backend, so it’s likely not your setup

The key is to keep your content consistent and relatable, with short videos, polls and real conversations working best. Facebook reach isn’t lost, it’s just for content that gets real engagement.

It's likely related to an algorithm update. But it needs to be combined with checking pixel signals, creative saturation, and account trust to be accurate.

Yes, I’ve seen a noticeable drop too. It seems to be connected to Facebook’s recent algorithm changes - many advertisers are reporting the same issue.

The drop in reach may be due to factors like competition, audience targeting, or ad quality, not necessarily a result of an algorithm update. You should monitor performance and try adjusting your audience or ad creatives

Yeah, I’ve noticed the same thing recently. Reach suddenly dropped for no clear reason. Could be another silent update or delivery shift.

What helped me was tweaking the creatives a bit and restarting the campaign with a fresh ad set — seemed to wake the algo up again.

it could be a related factor, fb algorithm change may be but your previous target is no longer suitable, you should learn regularly and update to be more suitable
