I’ve tried running YouTube ads targeting cold audiences, but conversions are low. For those who’ve made YouTube ads work for cold traffic, what targeting and creative strategies have worked best?

what type of ads? what niches have you tried?
crypto works well on YT. obviously this requires cloaking.
the creatives should be short. more than 1 minute usually is too long

What do you mean by cold traffic? Isn't the Youtube / Google algorithm showing it to a targeted audience itself? Thats at least how it works for me with applications. Basically Google Ads does all the job and I have no influence over targeting.
